	Dear Friends, Belgium It has been a difficult time personally for our Belgian priest Marc Croux. On the 30th of November his mother's lifeless body was found in the canal not far from her house, it is believed she accidently fell into the water. Her unexpected death came as a big shock, both to him, his twin sister and his brother. We ask that you include them all in your prayers. On the 4th of February he will be admitted to hospital for a small operation, we pray for his speedy recovery. Marc intends to convert the ground floor of his mother's house into a chapel, yet the financial side still requires attention and ownership needs to be established. Your assistance, positive thoughts and intentions to help manifest this are much appreciated. Netherlands We also ask your prayers for our Dutch bishop Louise who has been having some trouble with her health as well. Slovenia The Slovenian Young Rite operating under the name Svobodne Katoliške Cerkve continues to grow, both in numbers and in terms of activities. We now have no fewer than 19 priests, four of whom have been authorised to celebrate the public services. Services are now held almost every Sunday in the Sofijin Hram (the Sophia Centre) in Celje. Last Sunday saw the start of a new training programme for our priests in order to prepare them for public celebration. A group of seven priests started the day by concelebrating the circle form of the Holy Eucharist and spent the afternoon in practising particular parts of celebrating the Holy Eucharist. A vibrant atmosphere, to be continued in another four training Sundays before the summer break. Worldwide There is continual interest in the Young Rite from all over the world. Our activities in South Africa, United Kingdom and United States of America are also ongoing. We wish you a beautiful Candlemas!
